The Asaph Hymns Institute is for High School Graduates (or equivalent). It is eight total semesters, over 4 years. Yearly meeting at diocese retreat center for testing and teaching of at risk hymn(s) with the attendance of Cantor Hany Anwar. English is the primary language in which all lectures will be delivered online.
The AHI was founded to open up higher education of the Coptic Orthodox Church to all, regardless of their circumstances or where they live to learn the hymns, rites, history, theology, language, and dogmatic practice of the diaconate of the Coptic Orthodox Church.

On May 31, 2018, we held our first ever Graduation Ceremony for the Class of 2018. The ceremony was attended by HG Bishop Youssef, Fr. Pishoy Ava Moses, the Asaph Board Members and Graduates, and the Asaph Students of 2019-2021. After dinner, some speeches were offered concluding with a speech by HG Bishop Youssef.
